Founded in 2015, and built upon 20 years of experience, immersed in helping care for those living with dementia, The Dementia Letters Project was created by Kate Fassbender in hopes of cultivating a community wealthy in hope, creativity, joy, and faith. Working in a range of settings, including community organizations, care communities, and in the home. Currently, the Dementia Letters Project focuses on project based arts and aging programs and education for an intergenerational audience.
+It is so woven into who I am and my work I have a hard time articulating how it plays a role in the operation of my business. It guides my ethics and morals, giving me strength to fight back against many of the health care trends that are against the teachings of the church. It bookends my work in prayer and a focus on the greater picture. It has given me strength and clarity when times are lean. It grounds my joy and allows me to see each person I work with, no matter how wonderful or challenging, to see the face of Christ in each person.
