Founded in 2019 to connect Catholic consumers with faith-aligned businesses, DCB also covers more than 24,000 Catholic parishes and offers parishes an embeddable business finder widget for their own websites. The directory spans every industry from healthcare and legal services to coffee roasters, wedding vendors, and monastic goods producers. Business owners can list or claim their business for free, or upgrade to a paid tier for priority placement, a member badge, social links and business hours.

The Team Behind Discover Catholic Business
Discover Catholic Business was founded in 2019 to solve a problem Catholic families kept running into: there was no reliable way to find out whether the businesses they were hiring shared their faith. Parish bulletins held part of the answer, word of mouth held another part, and nothing tied it together.
What started as a list has grown into a directory of more than 46,000 businesses in all 50 states, assembled from parish bulletins, diocesan and parish directories, Catholic trade associations and fraternal organizations, and owners who add or claim their own listing. It is run by a small team rather than a large company, which is why you get a real person when you write to us.

Getting listed
Add your business at /add-listing. You do not need to pay to submit, and you can fill in everything — social links, logo, photos, hours — even on the free tier. We hold that information for you whether or not you ever upgrade.
Review and publishing
Submissions arrive as pending and are read by a person before they go public. If something is unclear we write to you rather than rejecting it silently.
Claiming a business already in the directory
Many businesses were added from parish bulletins and public directories before their owners ever heard of us. If the email on your account matches the contact email on the listing, your claim is verified instantly; otherwise a person confirms it. See the claim guide.
Support and response times
Free listings get the help center and contact form. Email support, answered within 2 business days on Basic, priority email support, answered within 1 business day on Premium, and Premier members get a direct line to the founder with a quarterly check-in call. These are commitments a small team keeps personally, which is why they are modest and real.
